3rd International Workshop on Sustainable Tourism for Eliminating Poverty – Millennium Villages as Tourism Destinations - - Seoul, Rep. of Korea

On Feb. 25th, 2015, UNWTO ST-EP Foundation hosted its 3rd International Workshop on Sustainable Tourism for Eliminating Poverty - Millennium Villages as Tourism Destinations Project, at the Foundation’s headquarters in Seoul. 

The workshop focused on how to secure a successful transition from the UN Millennium Developments Goals to the UN Sustainable Development Goals in 2015, and was followed by a working luncheon, including a lecture by Ms. Catherine Germier-Hamel, CEO & Founder of Millennium, Destinations, and a discussion with all participants.

Participants included five students of the Park Chung-hee School of Policy and Saemaul at Yeungnam University, North Gyeongsang Province, South Korea, from Ethiopia, Kenya, Senegal, Sudan and Tanzania.
