Participation in the 28th Joint Meeting of the UNWTO Commission for East Asia and Pacific (CAP) and the UNWTO Commission for South Asia (CSA)– Nara, Japan

On June 3rd, 2016, Catherine GERMIER-HAMEL, Founder & CEO of Millennium Destinations, was invited to attend the 28th Joint Meeting of the UNWTO Commission for East Asia and Pacific (CAP) and the UNWTO Commission for South Asia (CSA) in Nara, Japan.
The main items of the meeting included: UNWTO’s Programme of Work for the Region, Tourism and Ethics, International Year of Sustainable Tourism for Development 2017, ST-EP International Organization, Tourism and Security, and other statutory issues related to the UNWTO Asia-Pacific Member States.
The Joint Commission Meeting was be held in conjunction with a one-day International conference on Tourism and Technology on June 2nd,  which examined the current emerging technologies that are of primary relevance to the tourism sector.
